Engagement Photography in Stowe | Stowe, VT
Real moments. True-to-color edits. Timeless Stowe Views.
Stowe is one of the most romantic places in Vermont to celebrate your love—mountain views, a white church steeple, winding roads, and fields that glow in every season.
I’m Inna, a Vermont wedding & engagement photographer based near Burlington. I specialize in natural, story-driven images of couples who love movement, connection, and the outdoors. Whether you’re planning a surprise proposal at the Stowe Community Church viewpoint, a golden-hour walk along the Rec Path, or a cozy getaway at Trapp Family Lodge, I’m here to help you plan a session that feels like you.

Why Stowe is perfect for engagement photos
-
Classic New England village – The church steeple, mountain backdrop, and quaint streets look like a movie set—especially in fall foliage.
-
Epic landscapes close to town – In a short drive we can reach overlooks, fields, bridges, and wooded paths for plenty of variety. amyandjordan.com
-
Beautiful in every season – Fiery foliage, snowy evergreens, spring mist, and warm summer sunsets all photograph beautifully in Stowe.

Best time for Stowe engagement photos
Time of day
Golden hour—the last 60–20 minutes before sunset—gives soft skin tones and that dreamy glow on the mountains. Sunrise is a beautiful option if you prefer quiet paths and fewer people.
Time of year
-
Fall (late Sept–mid Oct): Peak foliage and classic Stowe views; also the busiest, so advance booking is important.
-
Winter: Snow-covered trees, cozy outfits, and a magical, storybook feeling.
-
Spring: Soft colors, misty mountains, and blooming branches.
-
Summer: Lush greens, wildflowers, and long evenings with plenty of light.

Frequently asked questions
Q1: Do you charge a travel fee for Stowe?
Stowe is within my regular coverage area for engagement sessions—no additional travel fee for standard dates.
Q2: What happens if it rains or snows?
Weather is part of Vermont’s charm. If the forecast looks rough, we can reschedule or use sheltered spots, tree cover, and quick breaks in the weather for beautiful, moody images.
Q3: Can you photograph a surprise proposal?
Yes! I can help you plan the exact spot, timing, and signal so I’m in place and ready when you pop the question.
Q4: How far in advance should we book?
For fall weekends and holidays, I recommend booking 3–6 months ahead. Weekdays and off-season dates are usually more flexible.
Q5: What should we wear?
Neutral, coordinated outfits (creams, earth tones, soft colors) photograph best with Stowe’s landscapes. I’ll send a style guide and can help you choose outfits from your closet.
